Never buy another packet of crackers again. Seriously, once you make these, you won’t wanna go back to packet crackers. These are so good, and they don’t leave you feeling empty and unsatisfied. You can eat them with butter, cheese, pickles, or fig jam and cream. Savory or sweet toppings can go on these crackers, depending on what you add as a flavoring.

Ingredient
2 cups flour
2 cups starter
¼ cup butter
Flavoring
You can mix and match the flavors below for a different flavor cracker.
1tsp oregano
1tsp rosemary
1tsp garlic
1tsp chilli
1 cup cheese
for sweet crackers, add 2Tbs honey and 1 tsp Vanilla

This is the dough rolled out the flavors in this dough were chili, cheese, rosemary and oregano.
Combine the flour, starter, and butter until a dough is formed. Kneed in the chosen flavoring, note you may need extra flour for the sweet crackers. Use additional flour to knead the dough so it doesn’t stick and is smooth. Separate the dough into three and roll it out to the size and shape of your tray. Butter your tray and bake your cracker dough for 15-35 minutes; flip them over at 10 minutes so both sides are golden brown. Cut while hot, then place on a cooling rack for 5 minutes to cool and harden more. Serve with your favorite toppings.
